Located just north of the Kingdom of Fife, south of Aberdeenshire and to the east of Perthshire, Angus is separated from Fife by a body of water known as the Firth of Tay. Famed for its stunning seascape between Arbroath and Montrose, the jewel in the golfing crown of Angus is Carnoustie Championship Links, while the main city of the region is of course, Dundee.

Barrie’s Birthplace, Kirriemuir, Angus

Barry Mill, Barry, Carnoustie, Angus
Rebuilt in 1814 after a fire, the original machinery in this 19th-century mill has been restored and visitors can see it turning once more. Caledonian Railway Ltd., Brechin, Angus

Discovery Point & RRS Discovery, Discovery Quay, Dundee
Follow in the footsteps of Captain Scott and Ernest Shackleton and experience one of the greatest stories ever told. In 1901 Captain Scott set sail and spent two long winters frozen into the Antarctic ice. Discovery returned home in 1904 to a hero’s welcome and a place in maritime history.
