Golf
Truly, one of America’s Most Distinctive Golf Challenges, Champions Gate is your must-play golf experience for this year’s trip. ChampionsGate is home to both the National and International Courses. Greg Norman designed the 36 holes of golf featured at ChampionsGate to offer golfers a blend of traditional and modern elements and to create a unique golf experience.

The result is a rare find: Two excellent and very different golf courses on a single site. The International course, which is one of the highest rated courses in Florida, has the look and feel of a links-style layout in the British Isles. The International offers a golf experience unlike any other in the Orlando area, but one that will be familiar to those who have played the links courses of Scotland and Ireland. The International was designed, constructed and seeded to offer a hard, fast playing surface similar to those found on true links courses. The International, with 18 of the most dramatic and challenging holes in Florida, is destined to rank among the top resort courses in the country.

The National course is a classic American-style layout that rolls through 200 acres of southern woodlands and wetlands. Shot making challenges are defined by unique bunkering, tree-lined fairways and intriguing green designs. In particular, golfers are apt to remember the National for its testing par 3 holes and for the double green shared by holes 4 & 16.

Whether you choose to play the International, with its authentic links style golf reminiscent of the great courses of the British Isles, or the National with its traditional American style, you will experience a challenging round of golf. As a guest at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate, you will experience superior service.
